Truett P. Mills was not only innovative in the way he produced putters out of his workshop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but was also a great teacher of the putting stroke. T.P. as the world would identify him as, worked in a barely larger than 6' x 10' area and produced putters that touring professionals would drive hours out of their way to have a chance to putt with one of his creations. T.P. designed and built putters during an age when there were no CNC milling machines, only Millport knee mills and shapers. He would literally create a putter from three pieces of high carbon steel and weld them together to create the putter that is world renowned to be the #1.

Touring professionals and average joe's came by T.P.'s home and ordered putters and would sometimes wait a period of 12 months before receiving their putters. However, that dedication to quality craftsmanship and an unwavering vision to produce the finest putters brings to the work that David Mills is doing today.
